Truna Trio (TX3)
A one man band multiplied through video, Truna Trio is actually a solo of the wild Spanish luthier directly from the planet Mars. This prepared cellist has made a musical language of his salsa, alongside the immense reinforcement of DIY electronics. Founder of the Otro Colegio de Patafísica in Valencia and powered by the spanish New Wave (bass and keyboards in the cult 80’s group Carmina Burana and Fitzcarraldo in the 90´s), Andrés Blasco Ramos regularly composed for theatre and contemporary dance when not busy collaborating with other outsiders from his galaxy like Pierre Bastien, Mike Cooper, Mark Cunningham, Tomomi Kubo…
On stage, his neodasist performances incorporate sound structures of his creation as the Cosmic Bull (El Toro Cósmico) or the Pulpit of the Future (Atril del Futuro), as well as two pre-video Recorded himself playing on his retro-futuristic instruments!
Truna has presented his various pieces in museums and festivals in different countries: Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Germnay, Austria, Lithuania, France and Greece.
